Grace Kelly Style Icon Exhibition

Grace Kelly Style Icon Exhibition followed by lunch at The Gallery Café
The Grace Kelly Style Icon Exhibition highlights the spectacular wardrobe of Grace Kelly and examines her glamorous Hollywood image and enduring appeal. The exhibition features costumes from films such as High Society as well as the gown she wore to accept her Oscar in 1955. It also explores the evolution of her style as Princess Grace of Monaco from the outfit she wore at her first meeting with Prince Rainier in 1955 to her haute couture gowns in the 1960s and 1970s designed by her favourite couturiers, Christian Dior, Christobal Balenciaga, Hubert de Givenchy and Yves Laurent.

Participants must make their own way to the Bendigo Art Gallery either by car or by train and are responsible for paying for their own lunch.
Suggested travel arrangements by train, which were accurate at the time of writing:
? Depart Southern Cross Station 7.42 a.m. ? arrive Bendigo at 9.54 a.m.
? Depart Bendigo Station 3.05 p.m. ? arrive at Southern Cross Station at 5.13 p.m.
Travel cost: A concession, return, off peak is $17.60. Members may wish to use their free travel voucher. Both trains have catering facilities on board.
Cost of entry to the exhibition: $16.00 (senior/concession)

When: Tuesday 10 July, 9.00 a.m. ? 12.30 p.m.
Where: Ascot Vale Neighbourhood Centre
Tea and coffee will be available when you arrive and the quiz will start promptly at 9.30 a.m.
To participate in this enormously entertaining event all you need is some general knowledge and the ability to enjoy yourself.
? Teams of 4 people are invited to participate.
? All participants must be financial members.
? Teams may be formed from fellow class mates or other friends in this U3A.
? The answers are in the form of multiple choice options so you have a 1 in 3 chance of scoring the correct answer.
? Individual members may enter, but the quiz crew will try to form teams from individual entrants.
? Mid way through the quiz there will be a break for morning tea which will be provided.
? Entry is free.
So, now it is up to you to organise yourselves into teams of 4 ready for some fun on 10 July and fill in the entry form below.
You will need to come up with a snazzy name for your team.
Closing date for team entries is Friday 29th June, 2012.
